Great flying in amazing Andalusia, hard racing at a 515km course, from Atlantic to Mediterrean, one perfect day. That was this year Andalusia´s paramotorace with sixteen great spanish pilots on start list. Take off launched at first light of the day, race took us through 4 turnpoints around Seville´s CTR, with max of 300m AGL until Lucena to be out of CTR airspace, then to Mancha Real and over Natural Parque Sierra Magina mountains to a goal at Palomares beach.
All teams made at least two or three refuel stops ( there was a limit of max. 18 litres of fuel on board). All, except myself (thanks to amazing Nirvana machinery and NEW special designed streamlined „pod“ harness!). I managed the whole race with just 1 refuel stop ( I needed only 31 litres of fuel for two 5-hour flights!) and despite of small delays (20 minutes later start due to my own misjudged decision and another 35minutes due to wrong setting for refuel stop) I reached the goal as a 2nd paramotor 😊.
